Li-Ft Saline Tattoo Removal

To achieve the best results from your saline tattoo removal treatment,

we ask that you read the following instructions.

Pre-Care & Post-Care Instructions

✅ Pre-Care Instructions

To ensure the best results, please follow these guidelines before your Li-FT® removal session:

  • 🚫 Avoid sunburns or tanning (natural or tanning beds) on the treated area for at least 2 weeks.

  • 🚫 No alcohol, caffeine, or blood thinners (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, fish oil, Vitamin E, etc.) 24 hours before your appointment.

  • 🚭 Avoid excessive smoking or vaping prior to your session, as this may slow healing.

  • 💧 Stay hydrated – drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment.

  • ✨ Arrive with clean skin – no makeup, lotions, oils, or self-tanner on the treated area.

  • ⏳ Wait at least 8 weeks after your last PMU, microblading, or tattoo procedure before beginning removal.

  • ❌ Do not pick, scratch, or irritate the existing tattoo prior to your appointment.

✅Post-Care Instructions

Immediately After Treatment:
  • A thin scab or light crust will form within a few days.

  • This scab must remain intact until it naturally falls off. This is how the pigment lifts out.

First 48 Hours:

  • ✅ Keep the area completely dry – no water, sweat, or other liquids.

  • ✅ Avoid touching, picking, or rubbing the treated area.

After 48 Hours:

  • ✅ Cleanse gently with lukewarm water if necessary – pat dry.

  • ✅ Apply the aftercare ointment provided by your technician (if instructed).

  • ✅ Continue to allow scabs to form and fall off naturally.

❌ What NOT To Do During Healing:

  • Do not pick, scratch, rub, or peel the scabs.

  • Do not apply makeup, lotions, sunscreen, or skincare on the area until fully healed.

  • Do not soak the area (no swimming, hot tubs, saunas, or long showers).

  • Avoid heavy sweating (gym, hot yoga, etc.).

  • Avoid direct sunlight or tanning beds until fully healed.

🧴 Using Li-FT® Home Care Products

Li-FT® Home Care Wash (First 72 Hours):

  • Use a lint-free, non-abrasive pad dampened with the solution.

  • Gently blot the area (do not rub).

  • Repeat 3–4 times daily to keep the area clean.

Li-FT® Healing Oil (After Scabs Have Fallen Off):

  • Begin only once the area is fully healed & scabs are gone (7–10 days).

  • Apply 1–2 drops, patting gently into skin.

  • Use 3x daily for 4–6 weeks for optimal results.

⏳ Healing Timeline

  • Days 1–3: Redness, swelling, tenderness.

  • Days 3–10: Scabbing forms – do not touch.

  • Days 10–14: Scabs naturally flake and fall off.

  • 6–8 Weeks: Skin fully heals – ready for follow-up if needed.

💡 Important Notes

  • Tattoo removal is a process, not a one-time treatment.

  • Multiple sessions may be required depending on pigment depth, saturation, and your skin type.

  • Always wait 8 weeks between sessions to allow for proper healing.

  • Once fully healed, apply a broad-spectrum SPF daily to protect your skin and results.
