Micro-Dermagraphics Pre Procedure Information
|
- Any tweezing or waxing should be done at least 48 hours prior to the procedure, electrolysis should be at lease 5 days prior to the procedure. Do not resume any method or hair removal for at least two weeks after the procedure.
- Do not wear contact lenses or immediately following the eyeliner procedure. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pre-procedure condition.
- Please refrain from the use of aspirin, aspirin-containing medication, or alcohol prior to your procedure.
- Delicate or sensitive areas may be red or swollen slightly, therefore it is not a good idea to make social plans for the next day.

Micro-Dermagraphics Post Procedure Information

If there is any swelling immediately after the procedure, apply ice. No more that 15 minutes at a time. Use A & D ointment after the procedure, only till bed time. Then use lotion on eyebrows, and chapstick on lips. (when they feel dry)
3-6 days after the procedure you may experience:
- Puffy eyes, eyelashes or eyebrows sticking together in the morning, tenderness or brushing near eyelid or eyebrow area or possibility of a slight peeling.
Things to Avoid:
- Avoid taking aspirin, as this promotes bleeding at the Micro Pigmentation procedure area. Tylenol is recommended for temporary pain relief.
- Don't rub the procedure area when washing your face for al least 7-10 days.
- Don't attempt to scratch or pick crust along the eyeliner or eyebrows.
- Don't sunbathe without the use of sunglasses for 30 days. Always use sunscreen on eyebrows or lips in the future.
- Don't swim in a chloride pool or ocean for 30 days.
- Don't apply makeup to the tattooed area for 5 days. If your eyelashes are sticking together, gently splash warm water on your eyes and pat dry.
- Avoid the use of soap, facial cleansers or makeup removal products for 5 days.

Avoid exposure to the full pressure of the water in the shower for 1 week.
If the pigmented area becomes infected or painful, or if you develop a fever soon after the procedure, please see medical attention immediately.
